This week I am feeling a little bit like a rock star. I think this is because I pulled my awesome, leather, rock-girl-status, boots out of the depths of my closet. When I think of the best of the ladies who can rock it out, it is hard not to think of the two geniuses behind The Veronicas. They don’t have ear-bleed-enducing music but they are still heard without a problem. They have such a cool, unique style. Plus, do you know how hard it is to find an awesome girl in a rock band let alone two? Yeah, it is freaking difficult! These ladies never fail to produce a song I can sing and dance to (in my rock star boots). Girl Power For The Win!
I’m all for girls who can rock right along with the boys (and do it better too). These two do that! Is this the concert you mentioned going to?
When I hear the Veronicas, I can’t help but think of Kody Keplinger. I know they are inspiration for The Duff & other things that she writes :-) Great choices!
Hee hee Katelyn I have a story about the Veronicas! Me and my hubbie flew to Hollywood for a long weekend a few years ago and he surprised me with a stay at the Chateau Marmont. Well they are non smoking and I have the horrid habit and there was this big window in our room that actually over looked the balcony so many stars have been photographed on. So I swung it open and set in it..there were people on the balcony and they said hi etc.. and I asked one of the girls for a lighter and she came over and lit my cigarette and then invited us on the balcony for shots of tequila. So we crawled out the window and took a few shots with them..YEP..it was the Veronicas. See..sometimes it pays to be a smoker LOL

That is HILARIOUS that you decided to pick the Veronicas this week, because this morning I was listening to one of their albums again for the first time in ages on the way to school! Another one of my favorites is “Mouth Shut.”
