Tune In Tuesday is a weekly feature in which bloggers get to showcase another one of their loves, music! This feature was originally created by Ginger over at GReads! but you can now find it here at Kate’s Tales of Books and Bands. If you would like to participate in this weekly feature, make a blog post showcasing a song (or a few!) and link up at the bottom of this post by clicking the cute blue guy! While you’re here make sure to check out all the other awesome blogs that have decided to participate!
This week I am going a little bit random and a whole lot country! I know I don’t usually share country music on here but it is a big part of what I listen to on a regular basis. Sometimes I just get in these little moods and that’s ALL I feel like listening too. The past month or so, it seems like I have been listening to country a lot more than usual and that is partly in thanks to the songs I’ve picked out today. I flip between our 3 local country stations just to see if they are playing every time I get in the car. I just can’t help it, they are that good!
Mama’s Broken Heart by Miranda Lambert
Miranda has so much sass, I just love it! I really wasn’t a huge fan of her until I saw her in concert. She put on such an awesome show! The shirt I got from that concert has lyrics from this song on it.
I Don’t Want This Night To End by Luke Bryan
This song gets the heck played out of it but it is one of those songs I just don’t get sick of. In fact ALL of Luke’s songs are ones I don’t get sick of.
Every Storm (Runs Out Of Rain) by Gary Allan
This is such a beautiful song, plain and simple.
Highway Don’t Care by Tim McGraw, Taylor Swift, & Keith Urban
Not only do I love this song because I ADORE all three people who sing it, but it is also a simply wonderful, somewhat sad song.
Cruise by Florida Georgia Line
This song rocks my socks off every time I hear it! I was having a sucktastic day yesterday but this song came on and I just couldn’t help but grin!
Love the songs. The only one not on my iPod is the one by Tim, but it’ll be there song.
Oh country music… le sigh. I appreciate people who can enjoy country music, I’m just not one of them. My family has tried for years to get me to like it, but I’m just not there… don’t know that I ever shall be. BUT, like I said, I have nothing against country fans. So thanks for sharing these songs with all those twang lovers out there!
Also, I love when a song comes on and you can’t help but grin. I love it so much, in fact, I have an entire playlist dedicated to songs that make me smile EVERY SINGLE TIME I hear them. I love that playlist. <3
Believe it or not, I listen to country sometimes too. I mean, I DO live in Texas after all! hehe Right now the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo is going on. For a few weeks country’s biggest entertainers play a show here every night, at the end of the day’s rodeo events. It’s a huge deal and the everyone loves going to it. Come to Texas Katelyn and I’ll take you :)
I admit, I’m not a huge country music fan, but I will admit to LOVING Miranda Lambert. I love her voice and her attitude. She’s awesome.
I blog about music on Tuesdays too! Maybe I could add my link too?
So much great music! Thanks for sharing :)
Found you via a link on Sweet Green Tangerine’s blog!
I m not a huge fan of Country music but sometimes the urge to listen to it hits me too :) I don’t like all of it and I don’t know enough of it to actually really name anything but I can still listen to it sometimes.
I can honestly say Katelyn..that for the first time you have posted songs I have never heard….
Nice songs. I don’t know most of them because I don’t listen to much country music these days. I used to listen to a lot of older country music a few years ago.
I’m very selective when it comes to country. Usually like the old school girly stuff, like Faith Hill and Jo Dee Messina :). Heads Carolina, Tails California is one of my jams lol. Anyway, nice choices!
Ninja Girl
I always find it funny when I find another (admitted) country fan, since whenever I hear someone listening to it they get really defensive and come up with some excuse. It’s like they think I’m going latch on to them and want to be best friends just because of it. (Really I’d only do that with books.)
Great picks, I love Miranda.

I must admit, I don’t listen to much country, but I like Miranda Lambert’s voice! Also, I have definitely heard “Cruise” before. It would certainly be a fun song to blast with the windows down!
How have I not been listening to Luke Bryan before today? I loved the song that you chose to post on here. It’s lovely :)
