Tune In Tuesday is a weekly feature in which bloggers get to showcase another one of their loves, music! This feature was originally created by Ginger over at GReads! but you can now find it here at Kate’s Tales of Books and Bands. If you would like to participate in this weekly feature, make a blog post showcasing a song (or a few!) and link up at the bottom of this post by clicking the cute blue guy! While you’re here make sure to check out all the other awesome blogs that have decided to participate!
Welcome to week 2 of Tune In Tuesday: Love Song Edition! I am having so much fun searching for new love songs to feature on here and I hope you are all enjoying it as wel1l Valentine’s Day is coming up this weekend, (the whole reason we’re featuring love songs this month!) so tell me, do you have any special plans? Since I am destined to be eternally single, I am spending the night with the brat pack (my two younger brothers, ages 5 & 9). I am taking them to see The Lego Movie, which I am really freaking excited for, and going for half-off appetizers at Applebee’s afterwards. Obviously it’s going to be a fun-filled evening. Regardless of what you have planned, I hope you are spending the sort-of-holiday celebrating with someone you love, or at least ingesting as much chocolate as humanly possible!
Without further ado, let’s get the ball rolling with this week’s love songs!
Oh Darling by Plug In Stereo featuring Cady Groves
I don’t know what it is about this song but it just makes me smile. It is so simple and sweet!
The Best Part by Paul McDonald featuring Nikki Reed
I featured these two on the last Love Song Edition but I didn’t use this song so technically it isn’t cheating. I seriously just adore their voices together!
Wings by Birdy
So by now, I’m sure you’ve all seen the trailer for Winter’s Tale. This trailer people, it stops me in my tracks every time. The first time I saw it, it literally took my breath away. Maybe the movie doesn’t look like your cup of tea but I am so EXCITED to see it. Anyway, this song is in the trailer and it is insanely beautiful much like all of Birdy’s songs. It has been on constant repeat in the world of Kate.
